Day 30:  finishing drawing of own face

The final day! I cannot believe 30 days have gone by ... it has been the most

amazing time of learning for me. Thank you, Kelly! For teaching us to stretch

the muscles of the brain, to cross that barrier of trying something new, never

done before, thank you again, Kelly. Even to the point of making a self-

portrait. Having said that: I am so done with looking at my own face, though.

So here is the final version of mine

Day 29:  Drawing of own face.

This is torture!! Studying Albert's face was very interesting, I could concentrate,

and do it, like solving a mathematical problem. When it came to my own face, I

was acutely (painfully) aware of all the imperfections, and because of the

emotional involvement it was very difficult to make a drawing. This is as far as I 

could go today

                                               Day 28:  complete Albert
                                               During the last 2 days of the challenge I reached a major milestone
in my mind. I never thought it possible for me to draw a face, let alone a famous one, and make
it recognizable! I never thought I could draw a face. So Albert, we have reached the end of the
road, but it was a huge pleasure to look at your face for 2 nights in a row! I know there is a lot
to learn, and I am looking forward to stretching some more brain muscles

Day 27:  drawing of Albert's face over 2 days.( I don't think 2 years will be enough for me to do this, Kelly!) Well, into the unknown I ventured, armed with black powder, a toothpick and my trusty feather ...  so here is Albert halfway through.

Day 25:   Another tree drawing with non-dominant hand,

   using fingers, business card and tools.

I made a drawing of this tree mainly using the

business card, and a little sponge to clean up the lines.

Day 24:   Drawing of a tree, with non-dominant hand, 

        using hand and business card only.

Day 22:  drawing of a safety pin

This is an exercise in creating straight lines, shadows 

and texture, and a lot of patience is needed.
