Hi Everybody
I am living in George, a beautiful city on the south western coast of South Africa.
I am relatively new to glass fusing (started about 3 years ago) ... Quickly turned into a passion! As I have a full time job as a medical professional, this passion can only be indulged in over the weekends. Sometimes a few unexpected moments of free time happen during the week, and it feels like a holiday.
Fortunately I have my own kiln at home, and a matchbox size studio, so I can work any time it suits me, that certainly helps!
George is quite far from any academic activities regarding glass fusing, so I am learning about this magical medium through my own experiments, books, DVDs and the wonderful FGF community.
In this part of the world it is high summer: glorious long days of sunshine, and a holiday for me ...
